Getting Started

How to become a Groups member

Deciding to seek treatment is a big step, and we’re here to support you from day one. At Groups, you’ll have fast access to medication, group therapy, and ongoing support — all designed to help you build lasting recovery.

Ready to get started? Becoming a Groups member is simple — just three easy steps!

1
Call us anytime

You can reach us at (888) 858-1723. We’re available day or night to answer questions and schedule your first appointment. Whether you’re ready to start treatment or want more information about how we can help you, feel free to give us a call.

2
Meet with a counselor and a healthcare provider

You'll meet virtually with a counselor and physician. If Groups is a good fit, we'll prescribe your medicine. If not, no pressure. We’ll help you find other treatment options. At Groups, we understand the importance of effective medication. When you choose Groups, we’ll get you started with a Suboxone® prescription as soon as possible—often in as little as one business day. We can also schedule your first group therapy session.

3
Get started with counseling

We’ll schedule you for a medication support group to help you feel better and get you started in the program. From there, you’ll join your first group therapy session. We meet just once a week for one hour, and you can attend in person at one of our offices or online through the Groups app—whatever works best for you.

What to expect during your recovery at Groups

The Groups treatment model includes:

  • Medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD)
  • Weekly group therapy
  • Social support

For medication, we prescribe Suboxone to curb cravings and help you avoid opioid use. Suboxone can also help you focus on your long-term goals while you make progress with group therapy. Weekly group therapy sessions can provide valuable mental and emotional support.

Going beyond managing addiction, we’re here to help you accomplish your goals. We offer ongoing social support meant to help you build and maintain a fulfilling life. As long as you need our help, we’ll be here for you.
